Barbara Ramsay, MBA, CPA, CMA, FCCA is a financial, cost, and governmental accountant and administrator with over 25 years of private sector experience in a broad swathe of multi-national organizations comprising mining, construction, manufacturing, petrochemical and telecommunications industries.  She has 15 years of experience in the public sector serving educational institutions, local and central government agencies.  

Barbara’s philosophy for success is based on team effort combined with strong and consistent leadership. Professional highlights include accounting software conversion, pricing for corporate acquisition, divestment of an international corporate subsidiary, and international treasury management. She is currently one of Syntegra-ESG leads on an inter-American project for improved corporate governance based on B-Corporation guidelines.

She has a Master’s of Business Administration in finance from the University of Dallas, Texas. Professional qualifications include fellow of the British Association of Certified and Chartered Accountants, UK, Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant. Having lived, studied and worked internationally in the Caribbean, United Kingdom, North America and the Middle East, Barbara has developed an adaptive and multidimensional world view, recognizing diversity in all forms and is always open to new ideas. 

Barbara has consistently engaged in volunteerism within her communities serving as Pension Plan trustee, Board treasurer, member and chairperson for various civic agencies and committees.
