Richard Ramdial is a highly qualified and widely experienced executive coach and change consultant who has served with distinction in both the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Office of the Prime Minister in Trinidad and Tobago across three administrations. He has also served as a Vice-President of Corporate and External Affairs of the Tourism and Industrial Development Company (TIDCO) which was established to attract and facilitate foreign direct investment. His private sector experience spans the hydrocarbon energy, financial services and distribution sectors.

Since 2001 he has been coaching and consulting with clients in Trinidad and Tobago and across the Caribbean including advertising, aviation, agriculture, banking, distribution, financial services, manufacturing, media, public administration, tourism and technology firms. His work primarily focuses on strategic alignment and implementation, change management and human capital development.

He holds a B.A. (Keele, U.K.) and Post Graduate Diploma (Hons.) (UWI) in International Relations. He is also an ICF (ACC) certified coach with further specializations in Conversational Intelligence (C-IQ) and Team Coaching from the Global Team Coaching Institute (GCTI) and is certified in the Prosci/ADKAR change management methodology. He has received executive training from the Wharton Business School.

His current area of focus is on “futures thinking” and the impact of the global technological convergence on the human experience. In this regard, he often plays the role of “thinking partner” and trusted advisor to future oriented teams and individuals.
